The natural gas value chain describes how gas moves from production to end users in Ontario.
Each stage has different participants, costs, and operational responsibilities.

The sequence of activities required to produce, transport, store, deliver, and consume natural gas.
In summer, gas can be injected into storage when demand is lower.
In winter, that gas is withdrawn to support higher heating demand.
